Meeting & Public Talk – Andy Macqueen “The Frenchman: Francis Barrallier, life and journeys 1772-1853

Andy Macqueen, a well known member of the Blue Mountains community and a very long term member of the Blue Mountains Historical Society, will speak to his new book entitled “The Frenchman: Francis Barrallier, life and journeys, 1773-1853”.

Barrallier is best known for his attempt to cross the Blue Mountains in 1802, and the long journal he wrote about it including much detail about the Indigenous people and communities he encountered.
