“Tarella” re-opens for public inspection for the first time following Covid restrictions on Sunday April 24, 10.00 am – 4.00 pm (last entry 3.30 pm) The Blue Mountains Historical Society invites you to re-acquaint yourself with our 19th Century holiday cottage at 99 Blaxland Road, Wentworth Falls. “Tarella” began as a holiday home to the McLaughlin family in the 1890s but, eventually, mountain-life attracted them and Mrs McLaughlin and her two daughters lived there for the rest of their lives. Entry: Adults $5.00; Children $2.00. Tea, coffee and biscuits available for a gold coin donation. |
