Public Meeting and Talk
On Saturday 4 June 2022, the Blue Mountains Historical Society will hold its next public meeting and talk commencing at 10.00am at the History Research Rooms at 99 Blaxland Road, Wentworth Falls.
Our speaker, historian Kate O’Neill, will share with her audience the story of the newly-discovered Old Dutch Master at Woodford Academy. Kate will explore the painting’s context, history and possible origin.
The founder of Central Mountains History, which is dedicated to revealing and celebrating the unique, rich history of the Central Blue Mountains – including the Woodford Academy, Kate is well-versed in the history of the Blue Mountains, especially the history of Woodford Academy.
Tea and coffee are available for a gold-coin donation from 9.45 am. Entry free to members, $5.00 for non-members.
