We are calling this event a Members’ Forum, because we want to hear what our members think about
the Society and what we do.
However, we know that from time to time, and for various reasons, memberships lapse. Our hope is that
former members and indeed, anyone interested in Blue Mountains history, will also attend. So, please
feel free to circulate information about this Forum amongst your connections.
Anything and everything about the Society can be discussed at the Forum. After we have heard from
our speaker, Kate O’Neill, the floor will be open. Everyone will be welcome to make a contribution on
any aspect that they feel is relevant.
In no particular order, here are some topics that those present may want to say something about:
Researching, Our services generally, Our publications, Publicity. Meetings and presentations, What we collect/accept, How we keep our collections, the accessibility of our collections, Volunteering, The Committee,, Financial sustainability, Tarella, Our grounds, The Research Centre building and how we use it, Our future, things we should do but don’t, The Society’s Committee.
