Excursion – ANSTO, Lucas Heights

July 17 @ 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

A guided tour of ANSTO, the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation based at Lucas Heights.  It is responsible for the operation of Australia’s only nuclear reactor. The cost of the excursion is $45 including bus fare and tour fee. The tour of ANSTO commences at 11am, so the bus will have to depart promptly from the Blue Mountains Historical Society at 8.30am  to ensure our timely arrival at Lucas Heights. PLEASE NOTE: For security reasons, we must carry PHOTO ID (LICENCE, PASSPORT, NSW IDENTIFICATION CARD, etc) and present them on the day.
