BMHS Excursion Wednesday 16 April 2025
Change of Itinerary.
Dear BMHS Members,
I am writing to let you know that the BMHS Excursion, originally advertised as being about Police, Convicts, Roads and Bushrangers, has now been replaced by an excursion to Mt Wilson to see the Autumn Colours which should be well and truly on display by the date of the excursion.
The plan is to visit Nooroo Garden with its oaks, chestnuts, ash maples and other deciduous trees in full autumn colour.
We will arrive at 10am for tea and coffee.
The cost will be $12.50 for entry and tea and coffee. Cash would be preferable.`
After Mt Wilson, we will travel to Berambing for lunch at The Hive as the Mt Tomah Café is currently closed.
Depending on the time available after lunch, we may still be able to go to one or more of Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens, Sefton Hall, Yengo Old House and the Parma Wallabies.
The basic cost of the excursion to cover the bus and petrol is $25. Please pay Chris on the day, preferably in cash. Payment for any other entry costs and lunch costs are paid directly to the provider or café. Most of these take a card but it would be best to take cash to cover any extra expenses.
